📋 Overview

What is STEMpreneur?

The Kreativity League STEMpreneur Competition 2026 invites students of Grades 9-12 to identify real-world problems and design innovative technological solutions that can make a positive impact on society.

This competition encourages students to think like scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs by combining STEM knowledge with creative thinking and business planning. Participants will not only develop a working prototype or model, but also prepare a business plan explaining how their solution can be implemented and scaled in the real world.

Who Can Participate?

Grades: 9–12

Participation: Team (Maximum 3 Students)

Eligibility: Students of Grades 9–12 from schools across India

Theme Rule: Pick a real-world problem from the suggested themes or any other relevant challenge

What You Build: A working prototype plus a business plan explaining how the solution scales

Format: Mentoring and Ideation online; Zonal round offline; Grand Finale @ IIT Delhi

Key Stages

1. Mentoring (Online): A mentoring session will be held for all participants to understand more about the event and rules.

2. Ideation (Online): Students submit a problem that they have ideated, explain the possible solutions, state the one solution they will build, and describe the initial concept and expected impact.

3. Zonal (Offline): Selected teams develop a working prototype of their solution, conduct research, testing and improvement, and prepare a detailed presentation of the technology used.

4. Grand Finale (@ IIT Delhi): The top teams from each zone advance to compete in the Grand Finale @ IIT Delhi.

Propose any innovative STEM-based solution addressing a pressing global or local challenge.

What Participants Need to Do?

Tick every point below before you submit.

Students from Grades 9 to 12 can participate.

Each team can have a maximum of 3 participants.

Participants must identify a real-world problem from the suggested themes or any other relevant challenge.

Develop an innovative STEM-based solution and design a working prototype or model.

05

Prepare an execution plan explaining feasibility and implementation.

06

Each team gets a maximum of 5 minutes to set up and demonstrate the prototype during zonal presentation.
