๐Ÿ“‹ Overview

What is RoboQuest Jr.?

In the futuristic year, advanced robotic systems are used to explore unknown terrains and collect valuable resources. To inspire young engineers, Kreativity League introduces the Gem Collector Challenge. Teams must design robots capable of identifying, collecting, and depositing different types of gems.

In the Robotic Gem Collector Challenge, each team must design and operate a single manually controlled robot known as the Gem Collector. This robot will be responsible for collecting colored gems (blocks) and placing them into designated collection zones.

Who Can Participate?

Grades: 6โ€“8

Participation: Team (Maximum 3 Students)

Eligibility: Students of Grades 6โ€“8 from schools across India

Robot Rule: One manually controlled robot per team; no autonomous features allowed

Arena: 240 cm x 340 cm arena; task to be completed within 5 minutes

Format: Mentoring online; Zonal round offline; Grand Finale @ IIT Delhi

Key Stages

1. Mentoring (Online): A mentoring session will be held for all participants to understand more about the event and rules. Interested participants can also opt for Online mentoring (Optional) to refine their projects with expert guidance.

2. Zonal (Offline): In this round students will showcase their skills by gaining maximum points in the allotted time.

3. Finale (@ IIT Delhi): The zonal winners from each zone will compete in the Grand Finale @ IIT Delhi.
