STEMcult blends culture with STEM by encouraging students to express scientific and technological concepts through performing arts. Teams select a theme and present a cultural performance that demonstrates STEM concepts through dance, theatre, or digital and technology-integrated performance.

Grades 6-12
Team Size: Minimum 3 and maximum 12 students per team

Advance: Finale: top 20% teams from each zone qualify for live performance

Science in Our Tradition
Highlight scientific concepts hidden within Indian traditions, heritage, architecture, art forms, festivals, or daily practices.

Present a cultural performance envisioning how STEM will shape India future through innovation, sustainability, and technological growth.
โ What Participants Need to Do
Students from Grades 6 to 12 are eligible to participate.
Each team must consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 students.
Teams must select only one theme for their performance.
The abstract submission in the first round is mandatory and must explain the theme, concept, storyline, STEM elements, and intended message.
The Zonal Round video must be in MP4 format and must not exceed 8 minutes.
Content must be original, appropriate, and balanced between cultural expression and STEM explanation.
