📋 Overview

STEMpreneur 2026 invites young innovators to identify real-world problems and design innovative technological solutions that can make a positive impact. Participants think like scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs by combining STEM knowledge with creative thinking and business planning.

Who Can Participate

Grades 9-12

Team Size: Maximum 3 students per team

Key Stages

Start: Stage 1: Ideation Round problem and solution submission

Advance: Stage 4: top 20% teams from each zone advance to the Grand Finale

Create a STEM-led solution for communication, media, or entertainment challenges.

2️⃣

Healthcare

Design a technology-driven healthcare solution with meaningful social impact.

Environment

Address environmental challenges through sustainable and practical innovation.

4️⃣

Education

Build a solution that improves learning, access, skill development, or educational outcomes.

5️⃣

Agriculture and Food Security

Develop ideas for agriculture, food distribution, food security, or resource efficiency.

6️⃣

Urbanization and Infrastructure

Design solutions for cities, communities, infrastructure, or quality of life.

7️⃣

Open Innovation

Propose any innovative STEM-based solution addressing a pressing global or local challenge.

✅ What Participants Need to Do

Students from Grades 9 to 12 can participate.

Each team can have a maximum of 3 participants.

Participants must identify a real-world problem from the suggested themes or any other relevant challenge.

Develop an innovative STEM-based solution and design a working prototype or model.

Prepare an execution plan explaining feasibility and implementation.

Each team gets a maximum of 5 minutes to set up and demonstrate the prototype during zonal presentation.
