Judging Criteria
Participants will be evaluated on the following key parameters:
- Creativity & Originality (25%)
– Uniqueness of the idea
– Level of innovation displayed
– Creative approach to solving the problem or presenting the theme
- Concept Understanding (20%)
– Clarity of the core concept or theme
– Depth of knowledge shown
– Ability to explain the idea confidently
- Design & Presentation (20%)
– Aesthetic appeal of the display/model/project
– Neatness, organization, and visual communication
– Effective use of charts, visuals, and prototypes
- Technical Execution (20%)
– Functionality of the working model (if applicable)
– Correct use of materials, tools, and techniques
– Practical application of STEM/subject concepts
- Communication Skills (15%)
– Confidence and clarity during explanation
– Ability to answer judges’ questions
– Team coordination (for group entries)
Display Parameters
Each participant/group must follow the display guidelines below. These ensure uniformity and help judges evaluate projects smoothly.
- Project Display Area
– Maximum table space allocated: 3 ft × 2 ft
– Standing banner or chart allowed: up to 3 ft height
- Required Elements on Display
– Project Title (clearly visible)
– Team/Participant Name(s)
– School Name & Grade
– Short Description (50–100 words)
– Objective / Problem Statement
– Materials Used
– Working Principle / How it Works
– Outcome / Results / Findings
– Future Scope / Improvements
- Safety & Compliance
– No hazardous materials or open flames
– No loud audio without permission
– Participants must ensure wires, motors, and circuits are safe and enclosed

– Standout design aesthetics
Important Notes
– All participants must set up their display 30 minutes before judging begins.
– Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.
– Any external help must be acknowledged.
